General Dentistry

Dentistry at the Inn provides a wide range of cosmetic dental treatment options to help you enhance the look of your smile.

Fillings

A filling may be recommended if a tooth has a cavity, is chipped, or has an existing filling that is leaking or has recurrent decay around it. A tooth-colored composite filling is used to repair a tooth.

Crowns

A tooth-supported crown is a restoration that replaces lost, weak, damaged, or unsightly tooth structure. The tooth will be shaped for a crown at the first appointment, and a temporary crown will be placed. At the second appointment (approximately 2 weeks later), the final crown will be placed on the tooth. Crowns can be made of different materials, and these options will be discussed with you.

Bridges

A tooth-supported bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by using the natural teeth for support. The supporting teeth next to the missing teeth are shaped for crowns. The bridge consists of the missing teeth called pontics attached to the crowns. The bridge is cemented onto the teeth and is not removable. The teeth will be shaped for the bridge at the first appointment, and a temporary bridge will be placed. At the second appointment (approximately 2 weeks later), the final bridge will be placed on the teeth.

Restore Implants

Dental implants are special posts that are surgically placed into the jawbone to replace missing teeth or to support a denture. The implant functions like the root of a tooth and, depending on the number of implants placed, they can be used to replace a single tooth or an entire arch of teeth. We work closely with the specialists who surgically place the implants.

  • An implant-supported crown is a restoration that is cemented or screwed onto an implant that is placed in the jawbone at the site of a missing tooth.
  • An implant-supported bridge is a restoration that is cemented or screwed onto implants that are placed in the jawbone at the site of missing teeth. The bridge consists of the missing teeth called pontics, and crowns which are attached to the implants.
  • Implants can also be used to help retain a partial or a complete denture.

Partial Dentures

Partial dentures are removable appliances used to replace missing teeth when some natural teeth still remain. They consist of artificial teeth attached to a gum-colored base, which is supported by metal or acrylic framework. We will customize your partial dentures to fit comfortably and securely in your mouth, ensuring optimal function and aesthetics. Whether you're missing one tooth or several, partial dentures offer a practical and cost-effective solution to improve your oral health and quality of life.
