Dentistry at the Inn provides general dental care for all family members including:
First Appointments: The Canadian Dental Association recommends that a child’s first dental visit be scheduled around their first birthday, or within 6 months of their first tooth. At this appointment, we will perform a personalized decay risk assessment for your child, demonstrate good brushing and flossing techniques, and work with you to create an oral health care routine that involves your child and promotes healthy habits.
We recommend that children see a dentist every six months, however, this may vary depending on your child’s needs, eating habits, and oral hygiene. As your child grows, we will tailor their care from baby teeth to permanent teeth, and ensure that they are developing normal jaw bones, muscles, and speech patterns. If your child needs orthodontic care, we have established relationships with a variety of orthodontists in the city, and would be happy to refer your child for specialized treatment.
As we age, maintaining good dental health becomes increasingly important for our overall well-being. Routine dental check-ups allow your dentist to detect any potential issues early on and provide appropriate treatment.
Dry mouth is a common issue among seniors and can contribute to tooth decay and gum disease. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to help keep your mouth moist and wash away food particles and bacteria.
Limit sugary snacks and beverages, as they can increase your risk of tooth decay. Instead, opt for nutritious foods like fruits, vegetables, and dairy products, which are beneficial for both your dental and overall health.
We are fortunate to have free, ample parking, with accessible stalls available out front. We also have a lift inside for those needing mobility assistance.
